In 2019, the CITIC Pacific SINO Iron Ore Project, located at Cape Preston, Pilbara region, Western Australia, was the largest magnetite mining project in Australia. It stands not only as a key benchmark for resources cooperation between China and Australia, but also as one of the most representative successful cases of China's overseas resource investment.

In 2024, LONGi Magnet entered into a strategic cooperation with a Mining Group of Australia. For its Extension Hill magnetite project in Western Australia, client has innovatively adopted high-efficiency modular dry magnetic separation equipment independently developed by LONGi, helping the project achieve green and efficient ore processing.
