Beijing, recently - The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has officially released the National Catalog of Advanced Technologies and Equipment for Comprehensive Industrial Resource Utilization (2025 Edition). Shenyang Longi’s High-Efficiency Green Maglev Comprehensive Utilization System for Ultra-Refractory Iron-Bearing Ores has been selected for inclusion in this prestigious national directory, recognized for its groundbreaking innovations, exceptional energy efficiency, and significant industrial application value.
Jointly developed by MIIT, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the catalog identifies and promotes mature, high-performance technologies with strong market potential. These technologies provide critical support for reducing industrial waste at source and enabling large-scale, high-value resource utilization. Shenyang Longi’s inclusion represents not only national recognition of its independent innovation capabilities but also an endorsement of its long-standing commitment to green mineral processing and sustainable development.
The selected maglev technology achieves multiple breakthroughs in magnetic-gravity separation. Its patented “peripheral feeding with central overflow” design effectively eliminates the “magnetic void” effect common in traditional separators while significantly improving processing efficiency. This innovation enables precise separation of strongly magnetic minerals at industrial scale for the first time.
Particularly effective for fine-grained, ultra-refractory low-grade iron ores, the system simultaneously improves concentrate quality and recovery rates while dramatically reducing tailings output. The technology can also reprocess historical tailings stockpiles to recover valuable magnetic minerals, enabling secondary resource utilization and waste reduction - delivering both economic and environmental benefits.
