Novokuznetsk, Russia – The flagship Novokuznetsk International Mining Exhibition, the most influential mining industry event covering the Kuzbass coal basin, officially kicked off recently. LONGi Magnet Co., Ltd., the Shenyang-based global specialist in magnetic separation technology with 33 years of industry experience, set up a fully localized booth to display its complete range of mineral processing magnetic machines for Russian coal and ore operators.
The brand’s distinctive red-and-white exhibition stand features wall panels printed with Russian-language product introductions, showcasing core equipment including balanced dry drum magnetic separators, medium magnetic separators, high-gradient wet magnetic separators, electromagnetic intelligent sorting machines and online density measuring devices. Real-world site application photos from global mining projects are also presented to demonstrate the reliable performance of LONGi’s equipment in coal washing, iron ore beneficiation, waste rock pre-separation and metal recovery. The booth is equipped with consultation counters and seating areas, allowing LONGi’s professional sales and technical team to conduct one-on-one technical communication with local mining visitors, and provide customized magnetic separation solutions adapted to the harsh cold climate and complex mineral conditions of the Kuzbass region.
This year’s expo has gathered a full spectrum of domestic and overseas mining processing equipment suppliers. Apart from magnetic separation industry leader Honesort, a renowned Chinese manufacturer of X-ray intelligent ore sorting machines, and Erga, a major local Russian mining enterprise, both participated in the exhibition. Honesort brought its latest XRT dry sorting equipment for coal pre-concentration, while Erga’s technical and procurement team visited booths of all major processing equipment brands on site to compare different mineral separation technologies for its coal washing plants.
The concurrent appearance of LONGi Magnet, Honesort, steinert and local mining giant Erga turned the exhibition hall into a comprehensive exchange platform for mineral processing technology. Many local mine managers took the chance to evaluate magnetic separation, X-ray intelligent sorting and other beneficiation technologies side by side, seeking solutions to cut grinding costs and lower energy consumption in coal production. Representatives from Erga held in-depth talks with LONGi’s team, expressing strong interest in testing LONGi’s high-efficiency magnetic separators at its coal washing facilities.
Having maintained stable market presence across Russia and CIS countries for years, LONGi Magnet owns numerous successful project references in Siberian coal mines and concentrators. During the exhibition, dozens of local mining enterprises reached preliminary cooperation intentions with the company for equipment supply and after-sales technical support.

LONGi Magnet stated that it will continue to deepen its market layout in Russia’s mining sector, optimize product performance to fit local mineral resources and operating environments, and deliver full-lifecycle services including equipment supply, on-site installation, maintenance and technical training for regional clients. By taking part in key events like the Novokuznetsk International Mining Exhibition, the enterprise aims to further boost its brand influence within the Eurasian mineral processing market and facilitate mutually beneficial industrial collaboration between Chinese mining tech manufacturers and Russian mining operators.
